Beechwood Rural Park to get a new look

Exciting news! The play equipment at Beechwood Park is about to get an upgrade. A team representing the Hall Trustees, Parish Council, School and residents have raised funding to begin this exciting project. The new equipment will be moved onto the lovely recreation field where the ground is much flatter and so much better drained. This will also allow families to enjoy the space together rather than having children fenced into a corner whilst parents have to sit outside. The new equipment will be suitable for all ages and abilities. Work will begin later this year or early next year depending on the weather.

Thanks for all the hard work to: Parish Council chair Tamsyn D'Arienzo, Hall trustee and councillor Kate McBrown, Hall trustee Natalie Kinch, Hall manager and council clerk Jenni Toomey and Alan Wright from Hamsey School. Local people have helped to raise funds through events and the jumble sale and this will continue.

The following organisations have been very generous:

The Postcode Community trust - donation for play equipment
The Rank Foundation - donation for play equipment
The Trustees of Beechwood Hall - donation for play equipment
Hamsey Parish Council - donation for play equipment
Tesco stores - donation towards new goal posts
Waitrose - donation towards new goal posts
Plumpton Junior football club- donation towards new goal posts

and of course the residents of this parish
