HAMSEY COMMUNITY

Important updates

Beechwood Hall and playground are closed until further notice. This includes adult exercise equipment.

LDC household caste collections are expected to continue as scheduled. LDC asks that we please be patient and flexible in case of delays.

The Rainbow Inn have closed their doors but The Blacksmiths Arms continue to offer excellent takeaway options. Leaflet below.

Eggs

Springles Farms  are now working on a plan to supply organic eggs in bigger volumes so one person can collect & supply for their neighbours friends & family in our community.

Please go on springlesfarm.co.uk and email us so they can continue to support our local community and vice versa.

Leaflets

You should now have received a leaflet through your door with the contact number to call should you need some support in coming weeks.

Telephone

We have many volunteers happy to help so please don't hesitate to call for practical help, supplies or to chat. We have volunteers in the same boat who have time to talk right now and many people will be able to call you back at no cost.

Another practised listener is our new parish priest, the very popular Rev. Anne Dunlop.

Martin and Sally of Bevernbridge Residents Association are kindly keeping us connected with the north of  our parish.
There are undoubtedly difficult times ahead but many residents are taking heart at the way that our community is pulling together in a way that it hasn't done in many years. There is a real sense of resilience from all generations.
We must thank our local NHS staff and key workers who are working tirelessly behind the scenes, often at great cost to their own wellbeing and the comfort of their families for the safety of ours.
Wishing you and your loved ones wellness  fortitude in the times ahead.
