HAMSEY COMMUNITY

Hamsey Santa Sleigh 2019

Cooksbridge residents have arranged for Father Christmas to visit our parish on his sleigh, this Sunday 15th December from 5pm.

Plans are afoot to make Father Christmas's visit as magical as possible. Please check the route plan attached so that any children in your household can be sure to wave to our special visitor, or visit him at one of the sleigh stopping points if they would like a photo on Santa's sleigh and maybe a chocolate if Santa hasn't eaten them all.

Proposed route for Santa's Sleigh visit on Sunday 15th December from 5pm:

Starting from near The Rainbow, Santa, Elves, Olaf the Snowman and a Christmassy Minion will travel south down A275 to

Stop 1) Chandlers Mead

Chandlers Mead needs to be clear of vehicles so the sleigh can get safely in, stop for children to meet Santa and take pics, then reverse in to the garages and out.

**Volunteers are needed to let Chandlers Mead residents know to move vehicles to the station car park between 4.45pm and 6pm**

Stop 2) is Malthouse Way. Downsview and A275 residents, keep an ear out as we go past so you can bring your children to Malthouse Way to meet Santa

Stop 3) Outside Offham Church/Opposite Blacksmiths Arms. Pub go-ers welcome! Then we head along The Drove and Ivors Lane to

Stop 4) Whitfeld Lane. We will continue up Hamsey Lane

Stop 5) Chatfield Close entrance. Wellington Cottages, those near to the school, Chatfield Close children, come and meet Santa when you hear the music! Santa will head towards Beechwood Lane next

Stop 6) Beechwood Hall entrance for a quick stop

Stop 7) Hollycroft, East Chiltington. Then headed north towards Mill Laine Chailey and down A275 to:

Stop 8) Bevernbridge, entrance to the Hamsey Brickworks

Stop 9) The Rainbow Pub. Then north via Spithurst Rd to the North Pole

Be sure to stay off Santa's naughty list by moving your vehicle from the planned route between 5pm and 7pm this Sunday, please.
